Welcome! If you are seeking to improve your quality of life through shifts in dietary and behavior patterns, you have come to the right place. I am a dietitian and have certifications as both a diabetes educator and health coach.

My Commitment to you

I believe that our bodies have the capacity to heal.  But we need to provide appropriate inputs to get out of our own way and allow this to happen.  With compassion and empathy, I will listen to what your current health issues are and work with you to craft a plan to improve your status quo at a pace that is comfortable to you.  My primary focus will always be on food but there is so much more to good health than what you eat.  Let’s get together and see what you can accomplish!

Personalized Care: I understand that you are unique. You individual history has created the tapestry of your current life and you have your own wellness goals. One of the key aspects of how I practice is to listen first, then work with you to find a step-wise approach tailored specifically to help you achieve them.

Root-Cause Approach: Although I am a dietitian, I believe that the answer to good health is about more than food. As we work together, we will explore how to obtain your best health in a whole-person, holistic manner.

Continuous Learning: I am committed to staying at the forefront of medical and nutritional advancements. I want to ensure that in our discussions we leave no stone unturned so that you have the benefit of exploring any potential therapies.

6 Points Wellness - Holistic health

Meals

As a dietitian, I believe that making good choices about food really matters when the goal is optimizing health

Sleep

Shift workers and those who sleep poorly are at greater risk for poor health. Unfortunately, too many of us fail to get the rest our bodies need. But there is a lot we can do to improve that!

Movement

While I won’t push you to run a marathon (unless that’s what you want!), the old saying is true: use it or lose it. When the goal is healthy aging, mindful movement is a non-negotiable

Sun

We are told to avoid the sun, stay indoors, cover up, wear sunscreen. Yet historically, we spent much more time outside. Surprisingly, our bodies are designed to use the sun to promote a sense of well-being and yes, to maintain health

Purpose

Health and longevity in the Blue zones are, in my opinion, as much about people having a reason to get out of bed as anything else. What gives your life meaning? Why do you want to live longer or be healthier? Your answer matters!

Salt

Many physicians continue to tell patients to limit salt. But it is vital to basic physiologic function. Here, I also include balanced minerals that are essential to good health
